The Uconn women’s basketball team has had a great season so far. They are ranked number one in the nation, and they have won their last nine games! The team is led by senior captains Katie Lou Samuelson and Gabby Williams. This blog post will provide you with more information about this exciting team, including player stats for every game played this year.
-These rankings are based on polls and statistics, as well as other factors like the strength of schedule.
-Gabby Williams is a senior captain in her final year with Uconn Women’s Basketball Team. She is averaging 12 points per game this season and has ten total blocks so far! What an impressive player she must be! I am sure that every opposing team wants to stop Gabby from scoring because she can also rebound for herself or teammates at more than two rebounds per game. The Huskies are ranked number one in the country! The team has been playing excellently at home with a perfect 25–0 record. This is just another statistic that shows how good this team really is and what they can do for themselves as well as their opponents. They have also beaten double digit ranked teams such as Duke University and Louisville University both of which were top ten before going up against UConn. The Huskies are looking to put all of the teams on their schedule out in order for them to have an easy run come March Madness time and should overtake Notre Dame who has been ranked number one since November 11th, 2016 when they defeated UConn at home.
