The biggest challenge in business is that there are so many moving parts. At the same time, there are many successful business leaders that have mastered their focus and strategy.
It seems that every business leader has some kind of story, and in this case that story is pretty darn compelling. At the moment, two of our CEO’s have an awesome book out about their business that is one of our top 5 business leaders list. The others are looking for ways to take their business to the next level.
I’ve been on the receiving end of a lot of business leadership books over the last 20 years. I’ve read a lot in those books, but the most memorable for me was probably “In Search of the Perfect Business Model.” That book explained how to get the most out of every dollar you spend, and then showed the company’s results when it managed to spend less money and make more money with the same amount of time and effort.
The company that In Search of the Perfect Business Model was based on has turned out to be pretty good. They’ve used it to make a lot of money, but also to do a lot of amazing things too. They’ve turned their headquarters into a gigantic aquarium that they display their fish and other marine life all over the place. They have a large pond full of live plants, and an entire wall of glass aquariums that the employees can go swimming in.
And they use the money they make from selling the aquariums to do a lot of things for the community. For example, they have a very large, very creative, and very diverse art collection, so employees who want to be artists can go to the art museum and check out their art. They also run a scholarship program where they take the top students from all over the world to study in their school.
It goes without saying that the people who worked for me would never have been there if I hadn’t been so dedicated to the art world.
I can’t think of a more perfect example of the way to be a successful business leader than to have a company that was founded by an artist. In fact, I’ll be the first to admit that the business I’ve run for the past 15 years has been built on the backs of an artist and his family.
If you want to run an organization that uses the art world and the people who run it, that’s absolutely fine. But if you want to develop your own business, then you have to hire someone who has the ability to do that. It’s not just a matter of getting great people to work with you, but also of building a strong culture with you.
What makes a great leader is that you have a team of smart, creative, caring people who want to work with you. You also have to show them that you are willing to put in the work in order to make them feel like they work in a team with you. It takes more than a charismatic personality to keep people engaged. It takes a great leader who you genuinely care about and who can be trusted not to make mistakes.
A great leader is a leader who does things right, who inspires, who has the right stuff to change the world. A great leader is not just somebody who has the right words on the right pages. They have the right experience, the right background, the right skills, the right values, the right mindset, the right attitude, the right values and the right mindset.
