I did not realize that all internships were like this because I get the impression that most companies don’t care much about how experience you have. I wonder if it’s a good idea to work at a company that doesn’t care about your experience. Also, it must be nice to be so busy, because the amount of work that exists is so large that it is tough to find time to do anything.

Its not that hard to get a job if you know where to look. The problem comes in when youre looking for a job that requires you to be working on a specific, repetitive task that you dont really like. For me the biggest thing about internships is the fact that its really easy to get a job and you dont really have to do much. It is easier to get a job, but its not the same thing. My internships have been very useful for my career because they helped me take a step back and think about what I really want to do. I did not want to be a lawyer or a doctor, I wanted to be an entrepreneur.

I think its very important to realize that internships are not for everyone. Its not for the lazy people, its not for the people who have a lot of other work to keep them busy. They are not the people that get hired to do nothing but read emails and run around outside. Those people will be the one that make it through my internship.

It’s true that the majority of the people who intern at startups aren’t making a lot of money and would benefit from a more formal job. But if you feel like you have something to offer, the answer is definitely “yes.” You can find internships that are relatively affordable and that allow for you to get in early on the path to your career. Many companies will put in extra time in your internship to help you get your foot in the door.
