I’ve thought about building a business cards collection since I was younger. I’ve been searching for the perfect ones for a while. The thing that seemed most challenging, which led me to create this collection is finding the right design and balance to suit my needs.
Ive found that being creative and having a flair for design are equally important in building a business card collection. I think the design and balance that is the most challenging has to do with the logo itself. Ive come across a few different styles and Ive always been drawn to the more traditional, sleek typefaces.
The logo itself needs to be both bold and eye catching. I think you can do this by making sure that the logo itself and the font you use to type it out are both different enough that people reading it can distinguish between them. I have a few ideas of what I want the logo to be with different fonts, fonts that are similar in style, but different enough that the logo will be distinctive.
You can have a business card look with a font that is simple but still elegant and simple enough to be able to read, but the eye pleasing factor has to come from the background. I really like the look of the business cards from the “Sainthood” series but I think you can do a bit of tweaking with the background colors.
Again, I love the design of the business cards from the Sainthood series but when it comes to the background colors I think you can do a bit of tweaking here.

The background colors of the cards are something that I’ve always liked, but it doesn’t make sense because those colors aren’t supposed to be used on business cards. And it’s not the best practice to use them everywhere, but if you want to get a similar look, I think you’d have to tweak the colors slightly.
I dont know the exact process of the coloring, but I know the background colors dont make much sense. The light blue is blue and the green is green and the purple is purple. The only thing I can think of is to put a black border around the purple/green and blue/green and the blue/purple and the purple/green and the blue/purple.
I usually use a lighter purple but I had a hard time trying to find a purple that is not too dark for the light background.
